Within weeks, the Alummoottil family and Muttom community saw through the attempt by Ramesh Chandran and Sivadasan to seize the Meda and block access to rightful heirs. Outrage spread—especially at Thekkedath Temple Trust meetings. To save face, Sivadasan claimed he didn’t know Anoop, called the assailants “Trust staff,” and falsely said police came to help them. By email dated May 28, 2018, Radhakrishnan (co-trutee of trusty and Anoop's father) certifies that Anoop contributed ₹2.4 lakhs between 2005 and 2011 for the upkeep of ancestral properties, deposited into Muttom Federal Bank NRO A/c No. 13100100092348, jointly held by Sivadasan and Ravindran.
